Yield the Result
Principle number 6 is yield the result.
This is a pretty straight forward one. It basically means reward yourself for your efforts. If you work hard and achieve a goal then you should praise yourself for it! Enjoy the fruits of your labor and be proud. I also feel this principle represents the need to make goals that are actually going to improve your capacity to do things that are meaningful to you. Such as strength training to make it easier to run/or play with the kids or mindfulness so that you can better connect with loved ones or improve your work. In doing so you strengthen your motivation to continue working and achieving goals, thus creating a strong driving force for bettering yourself. |
