Experience Fully
Principle number 4 is experience fully.
By this I mean being more aware of your experience. Mindfulness is the practice of non-judgementally observing your experience and I see it as a critical part of developing awareness of yourself, others and the world. Despite what the picture says, being mindful in an unpleasant moment is something that can ease the unpleasantness of that moment. We don't suffer until we think about how long we've suffered for, or how long we will continue to suffer. In Remedy we practice mindfulness and try to bring a state of being aware and non-judgmental into practices that are challenging. |
